About NMJ Service Centre in Stony Stratford, Milton Keynes

Founded over 25 years ago, NMJ Service Centre is still run by the same team who started it. When you bring your car to us, you’re not dealing with a rotating roster of technicians or a faceless service desk. You’re dealing with people who know their trade, know their customers, and take both very seriously.

Dealer-trained and independent by choice

Every technician at NMJ Service Centre has been trained at main dealer level. That means the diagnostic capability, the technical knowledge, and the quality of work you’d expect from a franchised dealer, delivered in a more personal environment and at a better rate.

For diagnostics, we use Mercedes-Benz’s Xentry, VW Group’s ODIS, and BMW’s ISTA – the same diagnostic systems used by the manufacturer networks. For the vehicles we specialise in, there’s no compromise on depth of knowledge or capability.

Our specialisms

We focus on what we do well. That means servicing, MOTs, and repairs for German marques, including Volkswagen Group, Mercedes-Benz, and BMW, alongside Volvo, Jaguar Land Rover, and electric vehicles. We work on cars and vans up to 3 tonnes with a short wheelbase.

EV is a growing part of what we do. Our technicians hold IMI Level 4 EV qualifications, as well as F-gas certification, and we operate as a specialist EV repair centre. As more of our customers make the switch, we’re ready to look after those vehicles properly.

How we work

Before any work is carried out, we’ll walk you through what we’ve found and get your approval. Our summer and winter vehicle health checks use a traffic light system that makes it straightforward to understand exactly what needs attention now, what can wait, and what’s in good shape. Nothing is ever done without your say-so.

Servicing that protects your warranty

For vehicles still within the manufacturer warranty period, we follow the full manufacturer service schedule and use original equipment parts so that your warranty remains intact. Every service includes a complimentary exterior wash, and all our work carries a labour guarantee.

Where we are

NMJ Service Centre is located in Old Stratford, a historic market town with independent shops, cafés, and plenty to do while you wait. We’re just a short drive from Milton Keynes and well within reach of Towcester, Buckingham, Silverstone, and Alderton.

If you’d rather stay with your vehicle, our waiting room is comfortable and well-equipped: fresh coffee and tea, cold drinks, free Wi-Fi, a TV, and customer toilets. We have plenty of on-site parking, seven bays including a dedicated MOT bay, and a team that won’t keep you waiting longer than necessary.

We’re also ten minutes from Milton Keynes station, with two major bus routes stopping directly outside.
